Defining a brand for ambitious AI specialists

When we first heard that a new AI consultancy called Valliance needed branding, we smiled. A company with a name so close to ours felt like it was meant to land with Valiant. The question was whether the similarity would help or hinder. In the end it made the connection instant. They were an ambitious founding team with deep agency roots, ready to move at pace with a partner who could grasp their complexity from the very first conversation.

Valliance arrived with significant ambitions for 2030. They were already attracting exceptional global talent and needed a brand that reflected their calibre, their confidence and their vision for enterprises of the future. Above all they wanted to stand apart from traditional consultancies by showing something simple and powerful: they put AI to work in ways that actually deliver.

Valiant was appointed because our early thinking showed we understood exactly what they were trying to build. They wanted clarity, intelligence and momentum. And they wanted a brand that could scale with them from launch.

Building a brand strategy and identity that makes AI actually deliver

AI consulting is full of abstract statements and overambitious claims. Valliance needed something different. A brand grounded in clarity, substance and delivery. A brand that showed how they work alongside leaders, engineers and teams to implement AI that genuinely moves organisations forward.

Using our Valiant Value Realisation methodology, we built a strategic foundation shaped around the opportunity ahead of them. This included market gap analysis, audience understanding across C-suite and transformation roles and a deep focus on how organisations want AI to work for their people, their business and the world.

The messaging framework focused on clarity and delivery, avoiding jargon and reflecting the direct, intelligent and human nature of the Valliance team.

We then explored three distinct strategic and creative routes. Each captured a different angle of Valliance’s strength: agility, realisation and partnership. The chosen route balanced ambition with credibility, creating a modern visual and verbal identity that symbolised the strategic direction of ‘trusted navigators’.

We developed the full brand identity, tone of voice, brand book, launch website landing page and a suite of assets ready for their team to take to market. A brand built to attract the best global talent and support Valliance’s long-term ambitions.
