Repositioning Sinequa to lead the next generation of AI-powered enterprise search
Sinequa is a long-established specialist in enterprise search, trusted by some of the world’s most complex organisations. However, as expectations around AI accelerated, their website and proposition no longer reflected the true depth of their capability.
While Sinequa had been applying advanced AI and machine learning across their platform for years, this was not clearly articulated. The existing website focused heavily on features, with limited explanation of how AI enhanced search, improved decision-making or supported innovation-led organisations.
The result was a disconnect. The proposition lacked clarity, differentiation and relevance for the ideal enterprise clients Sinequa was targeting.
Valiant was appointed to lead a strategic brand repositioning. This was approached in an agile way through combining repositioning and a new website redesign. This outcome was to better reflect Sinequa’s role in helping enterprise organisations unlock value from their knowledge through AI-driven search.
Aligning brand, proposition and website to the ideal enterprise customer
Sinequa’s ideal customers are large, knowledge-intensive enterprises operating in innovation-led environments. Organisations with complex systems, vast volumes of information and growing pressure to improve productivity, decision-making and speed to insight.
Their existing website did not speak directly to these audiences. It did not clearly articulate how Sinequa supports innovation excellence, nor how AI is embedded within the platform. They hid how they deliver measurable outcomes across R&D, engineering, product development, compliance and customer support.
The challenge was twofold.
First, to reposition Sinequa strategically, clarifying how AI underpins their search capability and differentiates them from competitors. Second, to translate this repositioning into a new website experience that connects directly with enterprise decision-makers, reflecting their buying motivations and supporting conversion.
Using our Valiant Value Realisation methodology, we began by grounding the work in strategy. This included a deep understanding of Sinequa’s target market, ideal customer profile and competitive landscape.
The strategic insight was clear. Sinequa’s strength lies in enabling innovation excellence. Their platform helps enterprises surface critical knowledge, connect insights across systems and accelerate decision-making in environments where complexity is high and mistakes are costly.
AI was central to this story, but it needed to be explained clearly and credibly. Not as hype, but as a practical engine that improves relevance, accuracy and insight across enterprise search and discovery.

Translating repositioning into a high-performing enterprise website
With the strategic foundation in place, we designed and built a new website to bring the repositioning to life.
The website structure, content hierarchy and messaging were rebuilt to reflect how enterprise buyers think and make decisions. Clear articulation of AI capability replaced abstract feature lists. Use cases were aligned to innovation-led organisations and complex enterprise environments.
The design system was modernised to improve clarity, navigation and usability across a large content estate. A flexible modular framework was created to support future growth, landing pages and campaign activity, while ensuring consistency across the site.
The result is a website that clearly communicates what Sinequa does, how AI powers their platform and why they are the trusted choice for enterprise organisations seeking to unlock value from their knowledge.
Strategic impact and validation
The repositioning and new website helped clarify Sinequa’s role at a pivotal moment for the enterprise AI market. By articulating how AI-powered search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation support innovation, governance and decision-making at scale, the brand was better aligned to enterprise priorities and future growth opportunities.
In November 2024, Sinequa was acquired by ChapsVision as part of a strategic move to strengthen AI-driven data processing capabilities and accelerate the adoption of generative AI within enterprise environments. The acquisition, supported by an €85 million funding round, reinforced the value of Sinequa’s platform, positioning and relevance within the evolving AI landscape.
